1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Time Tussle ("the game"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Anyone can play as a guest, subject to these terms.

3. What the game is

Time Tussle is a free card game about placing historical events in chronological order. It is meant for entertainment. The game checks the order using the years on the cards, without a tolerance for approximate dates. It is not a reference source and should not be relied on for academic, professional, or any other serious purpose.

4. Accounts

Registration with an email address is optional. Guest play creates an anonymous Supabase account, with a profile and gameplay data stored on our servers. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.

Uninstalling the app does not delete server-side account data and may leave you unable to access a guest account. Confirming that you want to leave a guest account in the app requests its deletion. Signing out of an email account does not delete it.

Both types of account can be deleted through Settings > Delete Account or by requesting deletion by email, subject to verification of ownership. Once the server accepts the request, access is revoked, but deletion may still be processing. Shared game records and other players' results remain with your account link removed and your name replaced. See delete account for details.

5. Cost

The game is free. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads. If this changes in a future version, we will update these terms and the store listing.

6. Acceptable use

Do not cheat, exploit, attack, or disrupt the game servers or other players' experience. Do not reverse engineer or interfere with the game except as allowed by law. We may suspend or remove access for behavior that breaks these terms.

7. Our content

The game, including its design, code, artwork, card illustrations, text, music, and sound, is owned by CVPK Digital Studio LLC and protected by intellectual property law. You get a personal, limited, non-transferable license to play it. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute it.

8. No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the historical content is accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CVPK Digital Studio LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the game, which is zero.

10. Changes and termination

We may update the game or these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may discontinue the game or your access to it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
