How it plays

Place, bluff, then call it.

01

Draw an event

Your hand holds real events. You can read what happened, but the year stays hidden.

02

Choose its place

Put the card where you think it belongs on the shared timeline. Nobody sees its year yet.

03

Call a doubt

A doubt reveals the timeline. If the order is right, the doubter draws 2 cards. If it is wrong, the last player to place draws 3. The last card is always checked.

What changes each game

History helps. Reading the table does too.

The year stays hidden

A card can look perfectly placed until someone calls a doubt and turns the timeline over.

A doubt has a cost

Call it well and the last player to place pays the penalty. Call it badly and you add 2 cards to your own hand.

Friends or a bot

Play in a multiplayer room with 2 to 5 people, or practise solo against the bot.

Guests can get started

Practice and room entry work as a guest. Creating a room requires an account.

The table

Cards that feel handled.

The dark tabletop holds parchment cards set in warm type. Every placement leaves room for a little doubt.

The cards

Every event starts as a question.

Read the event and work out where it belongs. The answer waits on the other side.

Good to know

Before you sit down.

Do I need to know history?
